We have an app!

Your bank ought to have an app, too

Obvious and mediocre won’t be found here—but “Why didn’t I think of that?” will! Challenging the banking status quo is Dan “The Wombat” Fisher’s personal mission. How many bank technology consulting firms can boast that they have an app? We have an app, it rocks, and as usual, The Copper River Group leads the way.

Our app works on the iPhone or Android, is free, and can be found on our website, Google Play, or the App Store.

We developed and launched our app about five years ago. We did so to demonstrate a point.

Here’s the point

An app is a contemporary solution that connects with the mobility-based smart device marketplace. It can be a useful outreach tool that can extend your presence beyond traditional boundaries.

And you control the content. Every bit of it! You clearly do not have to ask permission.

Question: If your consulting firm is recommending an app, does it have one itself? If no, where does the firm’s experience come from?

Taking this a step further in the Techno Challenge … Does your core application vendor have any former bankers on their development staff? Or are they just programmers?

News Flash: How many times have you rolled out a new feature or function from your core vendor only to ask yourself, “Why did they do it that way?”

We use our clients’ products and do our very best to understand their challenges. We have gone to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to get a leg up on what new technology is coming and we conduct our own research.

We have been involved in technology and banking for over 35 years, been a c-level executive at a large regional financial institution, and we are not at all afraid to try something new!

After all, we started the Copper River Group over ten years ago, just before the Great Recession.

And we are still here!

What the app offers

Yes, we have an app! Try it!

What’s on the app? Among other things, we offer the latest editions of this blog, to keep you on top and up to date on new trends, as well as entertained.

The app also contains a contract calculator that will save you from yourself by showing how much that “small nominal annual price increase” is really going to cost you. The app will show you how to contact us when you need experience now.

And it’s cool!
